A host/hostess is responsible for greeting and seating guests with exceptional customer service and hospitality. The position requires a high level of attention to detail, as well as the ability to multi-task effectively.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a restaurant or bar setting, as well as positive interactions with customers.
Responsibilities include:
-Greeting guests in a timely and professional manner
-Making eye contact, smiling, and offering assistance
-Scheduling reservations, keeping track of the reservation list, and ensuring that tables are ready for guests on time
-Maintaining an organized dining room by balancing tables between wait staff and bussers
